The Jackson, Mississippi-based JBHM Education Group announced Monday that MSU Vice President for Finance and Administration Mike McGrevey has accepted its offer to become president and chief executive officer. He will leave his post at the university on May 31.
MSU President Dr. Mark Keenum's comments are attached:
"Mike has served this university with distinction over the past four years. His leadership and expertise on financial matters have been especially helpful to me in dealing with the difficult budgetary challenges we are facing. Mike's leadership during this critical time of budget cutting and restructuring have been invaluable.
Rhonda and I have enjoyed getting to know Mike and his wife Ada on a more personal basis and appreciate the contributions both of them have made to our university and are sad they are leaving. They will continue to be members of the extended Bulldog family, and we wish them much continued success."
