STARKVILLE, Miss.--A free March 22 concert by the Starkville-Mississippi State University Symphony Chorus will ask its audience to ponder some of life's most puzzling questions.

"Concert Humoresque (It's Not What You Expected)," a collection of 11 comical and unique musical pieces, explores such quandaries as "Have you ever danced the polka with a porcupine while drinking your coffee from a cardboard cup?" and "What do grasshoppers and peppers have in common?"

The 7:30 p.m. Monday performance takes place at Starkville's Greensboro Center Auditorium, located just west of the downtown area on Greensboro Street.

The 38-member chorus will be accompanied by pianists Lauren Zumwalt and Jeremy Adcock, sanctuary musicians at Starkville's First United Methodist.
