E-business competition offers $5,000 prize

The MSU Entrepreneurship Center is sponsoring an e-business proposal competition for current students.

The competition's goal is to move a new business idea from conception to implementation. Student participants will present their e-business proposal to a panel of business leaders and winning teams will be announced. Business ideas can be in the early stages of development.

First prize is $5,000 in startup funds, while second-place winners receive $500 and $250 for third.

A three-page business proposal is due by 4 p.m. April 8; finalists will be announced April 15; and final presentations are due April 23.

The competition is funded by the Thad Cochran Endowment for Entrepreneurship and presented by the MSU Entrepreneurship Center and the College of Business's MQABL Services Innovation Group.
