STARKVILLE, Miss.--A public golf tournament this weekend will benefit Mississippi State's T. K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability.
Individuals and teams are invited to register for the four-man scramble Saturday [Dec. 5] at the University Golf Course. Play begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Payment of $75 per person or $300 per team covers the costs of green fees, lunch and an awards ceremonies immediately following the competition.
Sponsored by the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency, the tournament is being organized with assistance of "The Impacting Six" team of MSU's Day One Leadership program.
In addition to first- and second-place teams awards, door prizes will be given away from The Savvy Grape, Starkville Computers, Prudential Starkville Properties, and a number of other area businesses co-sponsoring the event.
