Morgan Watkins of MSU joins state business ed leadership body

STARKVILLE, Miss.--A Madison County senior at Mississippi State is the new student member on the Mississippi Business Education Association's executive board.

Morgan S. Watkins of Madison recently was named to a one-year term on the governing body of the professional organization for state business educators.

Watkins, a Madison Central High School graduate and Dean's Scholar at the university, is majoring in technology teacher education, with an emphasis in business technology. A transfer from Jones County Junior College, she is the daughter of Ralph and Melinda Sims.

Formed in 1950, the MBEA is associated with the National and Southern Business Education associations, as well as the National and Mississippi associations of Career and Technical Education. (For more, visit www.ms-mbea.org.)
