The Appalachian Leadership Honors Program is accepting applications until Friday, Oct. 2, for the next class of student leaders beginning in the spring 2010 semester.
ALHP students undergo a three-semester study of leadership skills and strategies through a number of different channels while actively engaging in their community through service. They are provided with the opportunity to meet and learn from local and national leaders in a variety of fields through seminars and lectures. Each semester, ALHP students also receive class credit and a scholarship.
To become an ALHP student, applicants must have completed at least one year of college and be in good standing as an MSU student. If you are willing to take the challenge, ALHP will equip you with the tools necessary to transform lives--both yours and others.
For additional information, or to apply online, visit the ALHP Web site at www.alhp.msstate.edu, or contact Carmen Wilder, program coordinator, at 662-325-1482 or cwilder@saffairs.msstate.edu.
