The application deadline for the next Appalachian Leadership Honors Program class of student leaders has been extended until midnight Sunday, Oct. 11.
Beginning in the spring 2010 semester, ALHP students will undergo a three-semester study of leadership skills and strategies through a number of different channels while actively engaging in their community through service. They have the opportunity to meet and learn from local and national leaders in a variety of fields through seminars and lectures. Each semester, ALHP students also receive class credit and a scholarship.
To become an ALHP student, applicants must have completed at least one year of college and be in good standing as an MSU student.
