Mississippi State announced Tuesday the official unveiling of Gameday 2009, web headquarters for the '09 Bulldog football campaign. The site, being housed on MSU's official athletic site (www.mstateathletics.com) is being presented by the Greater Starkville Development Partnership.
Gameday 2009, which can be easily accessed at www.mstateathletics.com/gameday, is a consolidated effort between the athletic department and the university to provide all pertinent information related to each week's Mississippi State football game this fall. In particular, it will focus on presenting information related to each of the Bulldogs' seven home games at Davis Wade Stadium this season on a week-by-week basis.
In addition to weekly information related to each gridiron battle including kickoff time, broadcasting, weather, special events and information on each team, the site will also provide answers to many questions that visitors to Starkville and Mississippi State may have when attending MSU home football contests through a complete A-Z Gameday Guide.
A special page dedicated to The Junction, Mississippi State's popular tailgating area, is also featured, in addition to a calendar listing weekend campus events surrounding each home game, and a points of contact page, providing fans with important phone numbers and web sites related to their visit to MSU on gamedays.
When MSU is on the road this fall, Gameday 2009's main page will continue to be updated to assist State fans in following and travelling with the Bulldogs.
