STARKVILLE, Miss.--In a follow-up to the early-morning Thursday [April 30] incident at Mississippi State, Danny Solomon is being charged by university police with impersonating a police officer, kidnapping and sexual battery.
Solomon, 22, currently is being held in the Oktibbeha County Jail.
"Our detectives continued their investigation and interviewed witnesses, which led to the charges," said MSU Police Chief Georgia Lindley.
Additionally, the Starkville Police Department is charging Solomon in a separate incident with kidnapping and burglary of an occupied dwelling.
MSU police officers received a call at approximately 4 a.m. Thursday about an incident near McKee residence hall on East Lee Boulevard. The suspect was taken into custody almost immediately.
