The Committee of 19-War on Hunger needs volunteers for a potato drop Nov. 7 at the Palmeiro Center (west side facing highway). The drop is scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Some 200 volunteers are needed to help bag potatoes during the three-hour time period. The potatoes will be sent to needy families throughout Mississippi, including many in the Golden Triangle.
