Severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon (Thursday) generally northwest of Oktibbeha county. As the storm system approaches our area wind gusts up to 30-35 miles per hour will be possible. The National Weather Service has issued a lake wind advisory in effect until 11 p.m. tonight.
TOMORROW (Friday)--A cold front with strong and possible severe storms will approach Oktibbeha Co. during the late morning or early afternoon. Exercise caution when outdoors, and monitor local news sources or our weather page for current conditions. The Crisis Action Team will provide information and instructions if conditions warrant.
