STARKVILLE, Miss.--Some 40 Mississippi State seniors are included in the 2007-08 edition of Who's Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Each year since 1934, the Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based organization has published a national directory of the most outstanding students on the nation's campuses.

Individuals are nominated by their institutions on the basis of high academic achievement, continuing community service, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential for continued success.

They join an elite group of students from more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries.

BARTLETT, Tenn.--Sarah K. Humber, a food science, nutrition and health promotion major and the daughter of Larry and Janeal Humber.

BATESVILLE--Malanese N. "Nikki" Malcolm, an educational psychology major and the daughter of Ben and Miriam Johnson.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Jennifer L. Inghram, a mechanical engineering major and the daughter of Jeff and Debra Inghram.

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn.--Courtnay S. Greer, a December summa cum laude graduate in communication/public relations and the daughter of Steve and Claire Greer; and Jessica L. Madewell, a December magna cum laude graduate in marketing and the daughter of Aubrey and Janie Madewell.

COLUMBUS--Cameron D. Collins, a history major and the son of Roger and Sylvia Collins; and Josie C. Smith, an industrial and systems engineering major and the daughter of Leonard and Martha Smith.
