STARKVILLE, Miss.--Graduates of Mississippi State's classes of 1938, 1943, 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963, and 1968 will be recognized March 28 and 29 during the university's 2008 Super Bulldog Weekend.

"Our alumni are key members of the maroon and white family and continue to play a vital role in the university's growth and development," said Jimmy Abraham, associate vice president for development and alumni. "We always are excited about any opportunity they have to visit campus and renew and expand ties to their alma mater."

Abraham, who also serves as executive director of the MSU Alumni Association, said reunion events begin on the 28th with 10 a.m.-3 p.m. registration at the Hunter Henry Center. Campus tours will depart from the building at 1 p.m. and return at 2:15 p.m.

The MSU Foundation's Office of Planned Giving is sponsoring a free seminar for participants. Titled "Financial Planning in Uncertain Economic Times," the presentation begins at 2:30 p.m. in the center's Brunson Seminar Room.

The west-campus facility also is the site for the remainder of the first day's activities, including an afternoon reception and class photography session scheduled for 5 p.m. A buffet dinner and program will begin 45 minutes later in the facility's Parker Ballroom.

Saturday events begin with a series of individual college breakfasts held at various campus locations--most lasting about two hours. The 2008 class reunions conclude with an 11:15 p.m. luncheon in the Hunter Henry Center Parker Ballroom.

Persons planning to attend but who did not receive reunion registration forms may do so by visiting and clicking on the "Reunion" link. The cost of attendance is $50 per person.

Completed registration forms must be faxed (662-325-8425) or mailed (P.O. Box AA, Mississippi State, MS 39762) in time to reach campus no later than March 14.
