The Division of Academic Outreach and Continuing Education and the Center for Teaching and Learning are co-hosting a February Lunch 'n Learn series.
Participants in the Feb. 13 program will learn more about the types of technology available for distance learning classes that assist in enhancing the online environment, as well as promoting student interaction. The types of support and training services available to all faculty who utilize technology in their distance classes also will be discussed.
Because lunch will be served, participants are asked to make a reservation.
Program topic is "Technology Software and Support" and features Drs. Noel Addy, associate professor, Adkerson School of Accountancy (Camtasia); John Forde, communication head and associate professor (Podcasting); and John Rodgers, associate professor, geosciences (Online Classroom).
The program will be held in the Coskrey Auditorium of Memorial Hall, noon-1 p.m. Lunch will be served starting at 11:45 a.m.
