Bulldogs in Motion returns

Once again, the MSU Extension Service will join forces with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation, Delta Health Alliance, and the divisions of Student Affairs, and Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine to bring faculty, staff and students Mississippi in Motion/Bulldogs in Motion. In addition, the program is open this year to Oktibbeha County residents.

The 2008 program will begin with early bird registration Jan. 7, continuing through Jan. 15 at the Member Services Office of the Joe Frank Sanderson Center. Early bird registration is $5 per person. Weigh-in and on-site registration will be held at the Sanderson Center Jan. 16. On-site registration is $10 per person. Participants may weigh in any time between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

New features of Bulldogs in Motion for 2008 include:

--Online video replay of educational sessions

--New interactive educational sessions focusing on exercise, wellness benefit and healthy cooking techniques for those who completed the program last year

--Mid-program team triathlon

--5-K walk/run at the end of the program
