Tuesday, November 6 at noon there will be a test of the on-campus siren system. Emergency officials will test two separate tones through this system. They will test a continuous tone, which in the future will be the exclusive "test tone." After a moment of silence from the system, they will test a warbling tone, which in the future will be the exclusive "emergency notification tone." After the November 6 test, only the continuous tone will be used to test the system and the warbling tone will be reserved for emergency notification only.
