The Division of Academic Outreach and Continuing Education is hosting a Lunch-n-Learn Oct. 10 in Coskrey Auditorium of Memorial Hall at noon.
AOCE is hosting monthly luncheons to promote the services and programs offered through the division. October's topic is "Distance Learning--Wave of the Future."
President Robert H. "Doc" Foglesong will open the presentation with remarks on distance learning and its future at MSU, followed by Provost Peter Rabideau. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Barbara Spencer, director of graduate studies in the College of Business and Industry, home of the distance MBA program. Spencer will discuss how to design and implement a successful distance learning program. She also will address how a successful distance program can benefit on-campus faculty and students.
