STARKVILLE, Miss.--Informal dedication of a multi-use pavilion at Starkville's Green Oaks Park will take place at 6 p.m. Friday.
The construction project was completed over recent months as a community service project by Mississippi State students in the university's College of Architecture, Art and Design and College of Agriculture and Human Sciences' department of landscape architecture.
The park is located just off state Highway 12 West at the intersection of Whitfield Street and Avenue of the Patriots. It adjoins the eastern edge of Green Oaks Subdivision.
