Tonight, June 29, Information Technology Services will begin transitioning the university's Internet and Internet2 connections to a new service provider.
Additionally, ITS will be gaining access to the National Lambda Rail research network, www.nlr.net. It is anticipated that the transition will take several days to accomplish. While ITS officials hope this process will be uneventful and transparent, there may be brief periods of network instability due to unexpected problems.
