Mississippi State President Robert H. "Doc" Foglesong (r) recently took the opportunity to provide President George W. Bush with a cap displaying the land-grant institution's logo. The retired four-star Air Force general was in Washington, D.C., as part of his service on a presidentially appointed commission. Foglesong's longtime friend, the late Mississippi congressman G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery, kept Bush's father supplied with MSU sports apparel, as well.
