Want to learn silk flower design? MSU has just the class for you

STARKVILLE, Miss.--A public workshop on silk flower design will be held April 16 at Mississippi State.

Sponsored by the University Florist and department of plant and soil sciences, the 5:30-7:30 p.m. program takes place in the floral design studio, which adjoins the florist on Lee Boulevard. Both are adjacent to the State Fountain bakery.

April 11 is registration deadline for the class led by associate professor Jim Del Prince. No previous design experience is required.

The $30 registration fee covers all supplies; participants need only bring a pair of wire cutters.
