STARKVILLE, Miss.--The governing body for Mississippi State sororities is announcing two special campus events in coming days.
Saturday [March 31], the Panhellenic Council and university's sororities are co-sponsoring a sorority open house as part of Super Bulldog Weekend activities.
Registration for all participants begins at 9:30 a.m. at the tent set up along Sorority Row, officially known as Robert L. Jones Drive. The information-sharing programs and brunches are open to all interested in participating in formal recruitment during the 2007 fall semester.
An April 3 Easter egg hunt, the student organization's second spring program, is being sponsored in conjunction with the MSU Interfraternity Council. Open to the children of university faculty, staff and students, the traditional scramble for the colored orbs begins at 5:30 p.m. at the President's Home lawn on Morrill Drive.
