STARKVILLE, Miss.--Classic rock will meet springtime sports during Super Bulldog Weekend events at Mississippi State.

Led by university President Robert H. "Doc" Foglesong, a group of volunteer musicians playing under the title of "BARK" will present a free public concert. The group's performance begins at 4:30 p.m. March 30.

Often billed as MSU's spring homecoming, Super Bulldog Weekend is taking place March 30-April 1 this year.

The approximately one-and-a-half hour concert will be held just east of the scoreboard at Dudy Noble Field, Polk-DeMent Stadium on Lakeview Road.

"We'll be located in the center of a number of outdoor activities and will provide great hors d'oeuvres to accompany some great music," Foglesong said. "It will be a fun, family-oriented opportunity to experience some Bulldog entertainment and to visit with friends."

The concert will join a number of class reunions, cooking competitions and sporting events.

BARK members include faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of Mississippi State. In addition to Foglesong, they include Sheila Coleman, Joe Jordan, Pam Kibler, Ada McGrevey, Mark Stafford, Chip Templeton, Joe Ray Underwood, and Jesse Yates.
