STARKVILLE, Miss.--In advance of Mississippi State's annual Super Bulldog Weekend later this month, the university is re-activating its Game Day Web site.
Taking place this year from March 30-April 1, the annual spring celebration involves a variety of campus activities for alumni and friends, as well as students, faculty and staff. Prospective students and their parents also are encouraged to attend.
The Web site may be accessed at www.gameday.msstate.edu.
All events are anchored around two major sports competitions. They include the final scrimmage of the Bulldogs' spring football practice and the Southeastern Conference baseball series with the University of Kentucky.
"Last fall, the Game Day Web site helped more than 124,000 people get information about what was taking place on campus during football weekends," said Jimmy Abraham, interim vice president for development and alumni.
Abraham, who also serves as executive director of the MSU Alumni Association, said university offices planning an event during Super Bulldog Weekend have been asked to provide specific information to be placed on the Web site.
"Individuals now have access to information about all of the events taking place during this special weekend, as well as events that will take place the Monday through Thursday prior," he added.
Additional information about the Web site may be obtained from the MSU Alumni Association at 662-325-7000.
