Career Center seeking Peer Counselors

The MSU Career Center is seeking outstanding student leaders for paid Peer Counselor positions for the 2007-08 academic year.

An interest session will be held Tuesday, March 6, at 5 p.m. in 331 Montgomery.

Peer Counselors work 10 hours a week in the Career Center and assist students with resumes, cover letters, and other career-related questions; present career programs to student organizations; and help with career fairs and events.

To apply, students should be rising sophomores, juniors or seniors for 2007-8 with a minimum 2.75 grade-point average. Applicants should also possess excellent communication skills and a willingness to assist fellow students individually and in group settings.
