A message from President Robert H. Foglesong:
To recognize and say thanks for your hard work as we prepare for the start of the fall semester, I am suggesting a pause in our normal schedule on Friday of this week to allow an opportunity for reflection and rejuvenation.
University offices will close at 1 p.m. Friday, August 4. Established policies and procedures related to work on a holiday, if required, and holiday pay will apply. We will also take advantage of this opportunity to conserve energy by shutting down or reducing air-conditioning and other electricity uses to the extent possible on Friday afternoon.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend as we make plans for a great beginning for the new academic year.
