Yesterday TVA users set a new all-time peak for the TVA system load use at 32,024 megawatts. TVA has notified us that we are in a power alert status. Curtailment of MSU power has a probability of medium to high. Yesterday afternoon they had upgraded the alert, raising the curtailment probability to high. We expect to see the same alert increase today (in the afternoon) and TVA expects to go over 32,000 megawatts total system load again. While there is ample power at this time, the loss of a large unit anywhere in the TVA service area would increase the likelihood of curtailment at Mississippi State.
