STARKVILLE, Miss.--The annual spring plant sale of Mississippi State's Horticulture Club will be held Friday and Saturday [April 21 and 22].
Open to all, the sale takes place 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the university's Dorman Hall Greenhouses on Stone Boulevard.
Horticulture majors have grown the varied annuals and perennials, including ornamental grasses, during the semester. They are using proceeds from the sale to support the MSU Horticulture Scholarship Fund and a range of community service projects. The funds also help cover their travel expenses to the national American Society of Horticulture Science's summer conference.
