STARKVILLE, Miss.--In advance of Mississippi State's annual Super Bulldog Weekend early next month, the university is re-activing its popular Game Day Web site.
Taking place April 7-9, the annual spring celebration involves a variety of activities for students, alumni and members of the campus and local communities.
SBW events traditionally are anchored around two major sports competitions on campus. They include the concluding scrimmage of the Bulldogs' off-season football practice program and, this year, a Southeastern Conference baseball game with the University of Georgia.
The Super Bulldog Weekend site may be viewed at www.gameday.msstate.edu.
"Since mid-February, we have been requesting that any university office with an event during Super Bulldog Weekend provide specific information for the benefit of those who will be enjoying any and all of the many things that will be going on," said Jimmy Abraham, MSU Alumni Association executive director.
"Last fall, records show that the Web site helped inform more than 72,000 individuals about what was taking place on campus during football weekends," added Abraham, who also is associate vice president for external affairs.
For more information about the Web site, telephone the MSU Alumni Association at (662) 325-7000.
