STARKVILLE, Miss.--Six orientation sessions during June will be offered by Mississippi State for freshmen and transfer students enrolling this fall at the university.
Four two-day programs for freshmen and two one-day programs for transfer students are scheduled. In addition to advance class scheduling and introductions to the many areas of campus life,
students--and their parents--will have an opportunity to meet faculty members and administrators, as well as students already enrolled.
Dates of the freshman sessions are June 10 and 11, 16 and 17, 24 and 25, and 27 and 28. Transferring students should plan to visit June 9 and 20. Parents attend separate, concurrent sessions on these days.
Registration will take place in the Colvard Union lobby. Sign-in times are 7:30-9 a.m. for freshmen;
7-8:30 a.m. for transfer students.
Enrolling students must first have been officially admitted to the university before scheduling classes. To check admission status or obtain additional information about 2005 Orientation, visit admissions.msstate.edu or telephone (662) 325-2224.
