STARKVILLE, Miss.--Programming produced by Mississippi State's Television Center will move April 1 to Northland Cable channel 18.

A variety of university video features are being reassigned from MSTV-30 by the Starkville cable company, an affiliate of Seattle, Wash.-based Northland Cable Television. MSU programs currently are located on channel 30.

"We will continue the same variety of offerings for local viewers, but they will be found on a different local programming channel," said Ralph Olivieri, the TV center's operations director.

Public affairs programs that are moving to channel 18 include Bulldog Weather, Bully Board, MSU On-Air, Round Robin, Stateline 2005, Take 30, and ThisWeek@MsState. Sports programming includes the MSU football, basketball and baseball coaches' shows, as well as game replays for football and men's and women's basketball.
