STARKVILLE, Miss.--Ryan Little is the new assistant director of development for Mississippi State University's James Worth Bagley College of Engineering.

He succeeds Blake W. Hudson, who recently was promoted to the college's development directorship.

Little, a 2000 University of Oklahoma marketing graduate, previously served as corporate relations manager for Hands On Atlanta, a non-profit organization that helps individuals, families and corporate and community groups find volunteer opportunities.

He also has held fund-raising positions with the Boy Scouts of America.

One of the two oldest academic programs at the land-grant university, the Bagley College enrolls more than 2,300 undergraduate and graduate majors. The academic unit currently ranks 24th among public and private engineering colleges in engineering research and development expenditures, according to the National Science Foundation.
