MSU 2004 Alumni Fellows
Paul M. Cuicchi of Starkville is among eight graduates named 2004 Alumni Fellows of Mississippi State University. The veteran Starkville High School physics teacher and 2002 Mississippi Teacher of the Year was selected by the College of Education, from which he received a bachelor's degree in 1969, a master's in 1971, an educational specialist degree in 1990, and a doctorate in 1992, all in science education.
Anne Marie Decker of Jackson was selected by the College of Architecture, Art and Design. The principal member of the Duvall Decker Architects firm is a 1994 architecture graduate.
Ronald Greeley of Tempe, Ariz., was selected by the College of Arts and Sciences, from which he received a bachelor's degree in 1962 and a master's in 1963, both in geology. He is Regents' Professor of Geological Sciences at Arizona State University. Greeley also holds a doctorate from the University of Missouri at Rolla.
Rodger D. Johnson of Roswell was selected for the honor by the James W. Bagley College of Engineering. Johnson is a 1971 civil engineering graduate. He is president and chief executive officer of West Point, Ga.-based Knology Inc., a major regional provider of interactive communications and entertainment services. Johnson also holds a master's from Georgia State University.
Willie H. "Bill" Tomlinson Jr. of Vicksburg was selected for the honor by the College of Forest Resources. Tomlinson received a bachelor's degree in forest management and a master's in wildlife ecology, in 1972 and 1977, respectively. He is president of Wildlife Technical Services, a natural resource and environmental consulting firm.
Karen S. Kubena of College Station, Texas, was selected by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Kubena is a 1976 master's degree graduate in nutrition. At TAMU, the human nutrition and food science professor is associate dean of academic affairs. She also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and a doctorate from TAMU.
Dr. Barbara H. Masters of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., was selected by the College of Veterinary Medicine, from which she graduated in 1987. She currently is acting administrator for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Roderck A. "Rod" Moore of Brandon was selected by the College of Business and Industry, from which he received an accounting degree in 1967. A certified public accountant, he is executive vice president and chief executive officer of the Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Co.
Organized by the MSU Alumni Association for the past 15 years, the Alumni Fellows program brings graduates of distinction back to campus to share their professional experiences and provide career guidance for current students and their faculty mentors. MSU Alumni Fellows carry the title for life.
