Summer camps focusing on everything from architecture to business skills to insects to athletic improvement are available at Mississippi State.
The special short-term university programs for K-12 students take place from mid-June through late July. Often sponsored by MSU academic units, many seek to develop specific skills and encourage future careers. Among others, they include:
--University Familiarization Program for Minorities in Engineering.
--Women in Action Engineering Program (for girls in grades 7-8).
--WISE Women Engineering Program (for girls in grades 9-11).
--Business Opportunities for Success in School.
--Career and Research Exploration for Students and Teachers Program.
--4-H Entomology Camp.
--Architecture Design Discovery.
--Summer Seminar for Horticulture and Landscape.
--MSU Football Camp.
--MSU Softball Youth Camp.
--Bully Bots (robot construction).
--Early Childhood Music.
--Exploring the Environment through the Arts.
--Prissy Missies (jewelry design, cookie baking and other activities).
