Candidates for president of the Mississippi State University Student Association will face each other in a Monday [April 5] debate that precedes the runoff election on Tuesday.
Seniors Juan R. McCullum of Pearl and Adam R. Telle of Northport, Ala., will answer questions from a three-member student panel at noon in Colvard Union ballroom.
All MSU students are invited to attend to learn more about candidates' stances on campus issues, said outgoing president Josh Blades. "We have two great candidates for the position," he added.
Final spring semester voting is scheduled 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday in the union building. In addition to the presidency, candidates for SA secretary and attorney general, and senior class president also will be determined at the ballot boxes.
