Four Starkville residents are receiving the highest alumni honor given by the academic colleges from which they graduated at Mississippi State University. The honorees included (l-r) Robert D. "Dan" Camp, education, 1962 and 1965; Albert C. Clark, business and industry, 1965; J.L. "Jim" Tisdale, forest resources, 1961 and 1963; and Dr. Sharon F. Grace, veterinary medicine, 1982 and 1987. The alumnus and alumna of the year awards were presented in campus ceremonies Friday night [Jan. 23]. Camp is owner of Camp Real Estate and Development; Clark, president of C.C. Clark Inc.; Tisdale, manager of the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge; and Grace, associate clinical professor at the veterinary college.

Camp holds a bachelor's degree in industrial arts education and a master's in school administration.
Clark holds a bachelor's degree in general business administration.
Tisdale holds a bachelor's degree in forestry and a master's in forestry and wildlife management.
Grace holds a master's in animal physiology and a doctorate in veterinary medicine.
