New MSU Student Association Cabinet selections announced

Thirty Mississippi State students begin service in August as members of the university's Student Association Cabinet.

Announcement of the appointments for the 2002-03 school year that begins Aug. 19 recently was made by the SA executive council, which is made up of the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and attorney general.

The SA is the governing body for all persons enrolled on the Starkville campus. Members of its cabinet maintain office hours, serve on university standing committees and hold their own committee meetings as required.

New MSU SA cabinet members include (by hometown):

BRANDON--Kate McIntosh, a junior communication major and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David McIntosh, athletic support.

BROOKHAVEN--Russ McNees, a senior general business administration major and the son of Nancy Reno of Brookhaven and Ken McNees of Jackson, academic affairs.

BROOKSVILLE--Richard Heard, a junior microbiology major and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tiny Heard, voter registration.

CLINTON--David Brooks, a junior history major and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Brooks, student activities; and Misti Munroe, a senior marketing major and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Munroe, student activities.

COLDWATER--Jeremy Slocum, a senior biochemistry major and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Slocum, external events.

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn.--Meagan Medley, a sophomore special education major and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Medley, disabled student affairs.
