Beginning Wednesday, July 11, the Chadwick Lake Road entrance to Mississippi State's north campus no longer will be accessible.
A segment of the road adjacent to the Bryan Athletic Building will be closed for the installation of curbs and gutters, and the existing entrance from Highway 82 to the athletic complex will be permanently closed. The change is part of an ongoing construction project creating a new North Campus entrance from the state highway.
During work on the road segment, the Bryan Athletic Building will be accessible from central campus via Coliseum Boulevard and the southern end of Chadwick Lake Road. Once construction is complete on the new four-lane North Entrance sometime in August, Chadwick Lake Road will become an artery of the new main boulevard.
