Beginning Wednesday [Aug. 1], several educational, student and sports programs will be reassigned to different channels, said acting center director Ralph R. Olivieri. "The changes result from the addition of a new network affiliate to local programming."
Among changes:
--The university cable and the international news programs of the SCOLA network move to Channel 30 from Channel 7. SCOLA provides television programming from more than 50 different countries in the language of origin.
--The Learning Channel moves to Channel 45 from Channel 30.

"Our viewers should know that all coaches' shows, sports programming and student productions will continue to be available on Channel 30," Olivieri said.
