Mississippi State's Mitchell Memorial Library will sponsor a "come-and-go" information fair next week for master's- and doctoral-degree students at the university.
Demonstrations and exhibits about library resources will be featured Wednesday and Thursday [Sept. 29 and 30] in the fourth-floor graduate and faculty study area.
The Wednesday presentations take place 4-7 p.m.; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday.
"Last year we had more than 250 students attend our first fair," said outreach coordinator Gail Peyton. "Based on their evaluations, we believe the event enhances student work in the areas of research and information technology."
Students can enjoy refreshments while they learn about a range of areas, including computer access, document delivery and interlibrary loans, electronic databases, genealogy resources, and government documents, among others.
