Copies of Mississippi State University's 1999 pictorial calendar are hot off the press and available for sale.

The 12-by-18-inch hanging wall unit features campus scenes captured by award-winning university photographers Fred Faulk and Russ Houston. The new Joe Frank Sanderson Center, the Famous Maroon Band, Bulldog baseball, and renovated and expanded Mitchell Memorial Library are among the full-color images in the 14-month daily register.

Along with major holidays, academic and special campus events are noted in this latest production of the university's Office of Development.

"This is our third year of producing the calendars and the response from our alumni, friends and supporters has been extremely positive," said Tom Stogsdill, executive director of development. "They have proved especially popular as Christmas gifts."

Selling for $10.95 each, the calendars may be purchased in one of several ways, including telephoning the development office at (601) 325-3410, or by writing in care of P.O. Box 6149, Mississippi State, MS 39762-6149.

Mail orders should include an additional $1.95 for the shipping and handling of one calendar and 45 cents for each additional copy. Mississippi residents must add 7 percent sales tax. Checks should be made payable to the Mississippi State University Foundation.

Order forms also are included in the most recent issues of Mississippi State Alumnus magazine and Mississippi State University Connection newsletter.

Credit card orders also may be made over the Internet by visiting the MSU website at www.msstate.edu, then clicking on "Alumni and Friends."

For Bulldog fans attending any of the five 1998 home football games, calendars will be available at the Butler-Williams Alumni Center and at booths inside Scott Field, which is next door to the center. Bookstores in Starkville, Jackson and other areas around the state are expected to again offer the calendars.
