April 1 is the application deadline for annual scholarships awarded by the Mississippi State University Women's Club.
The organization supports several $500 scholastic awards for female students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees. Applicants must be United States citizens currently enrolled full time in the university.
"Our goal is to recognize women who are not only outstanding students, but who have contributed significantly to other facets of life," said Sandra Harpole, chair of the scholarship committee.
"The recipients reflect the highest standards in both academics and campus and community leadership," she added.
