The art works of four graduating seniors are being featured through May 2 at Mississippi State University.

Patrice W. Anderson of Columbus, Robert Bean of McComb, Marsha R. Eldridge of Louisville, and Amanda Garriga of Ocean Springs are having their creations displayed in the Spring 1997 Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition.

Titled "smaller than life," the exhibition in the McComas Hall gallery is sponsored by the art department, from which each student is graduating in May. The collection includes interactive multimedia, ceramics and paintings.

An opening public reception will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday [the 24th] in the gallery, which is located on the ground floor of McComas Hall. Regular gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.

Anderson's entry is an interactive multimedia presentation; Bean, an untitled landscape painting in oil; Eldridge, large acrylic paintings, and Garriga, a series of acrylic portraits and caricatures.
