Korean graduate students study business

For the sixth time in five years, a group of South Korean business executives is receiving graduate training at Mississippi State University.

Forty students from Kwangwoon University's Graduate School of Business arrived on campus Tuesday [Dec. 3] for an intense three-day seminar on international business strategy. The university is located in Seoul, South Korea's capital.

In addition to classes on such topics as cross-cultural management, business English and the North American Free Trade Agreement, the students will visit commercial operations in Memphis, Tenn., and Birmingham, Ala., as well as the Golden Triangle area of East Central Mississippi.

Kwangwoon's year-long graduate program in business involves two segments in Korea and a third session at Mississippi State.

The American phase of the executive training program is administered by the Division of Business Services in Mississippi State's College of Business and Industry.
