Illusionists Kevin and Cindy Spencer will present an evening of magic and illusion at Mississippi State University Oct. 17.
The Spencers combine wizardry with comedy, audience participation and music in their act, one of the most requested in the country.
In 1995, the Spencers were named Performing Arts Entertainers of the Year by the performing arts venues around the United States. The only other magician to win this award was David Copperfield in 1987.
In Campus Activities Today magazine, the Spencers were named Best Performing Artists and Best Major Concert of 1995. They also have received more Reader's Choice Awards than any other touring artist on the circuit.
The free, public program is set for Lee Hall auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
