Popcorn, Plarn and Professionalism

August 02, 2019 - 1:00 pm

About this event

Join Mississippi State's Maroon Volunteer Center every Friday through Aug. 16 for Popcorn, Plarn and Professionalism! Attendees will participate in a 30-minute seminar on a professional skill, based on a competency of the National Association of Colleges and Employers. After that, volunteers will cut grocery bags to make plastic yarn, or plarn, which is used to crochet bed rolls for people experiencing homelessness. Come snack on popcorn and make a difference!
