The program provides support to undergraduate students pursuing value-added experiences outside the classroom (e.g., internships, co-ops, fieldwork, extended lab research, and study abroad). Round one applications are due today for opportunities to take place May 16 – Dec. 31, 2018. A faculty member must write a nomination letter and be willing to supervise the student nominee. Students must be junior or senior-level undergraduates at the time of award, must have a current FAFSA on file, and must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA to be eligible. Budget items can include any travel-related expense (e.g., airfare, transportation, housing, food), stipend or tuition. Applications and related questions should be addressed to Dr. Giselle Thibaudeau at giselle@deanas.msstate.edu and copied to Lakeisha Knox at lknox@deanas.msstate.edu.
