About this event
The UAB Study of Aging 1 and II are longitudinal data sets (8.5 and 4 years, respectively) of black and white community-dwelling men and women (65+) living in urban and rural areas. The data are available for use by interested researchers. Dr. Richard Kennedy, an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, is the biostatistician on the projects and will be available for one-on-one meetings with interested faculty. He also will provide faculty, staff and students with an overview of the datasets during a noon lunch-and-learn session in Room 211 at the Herzer Food Science Building. Interested individuals should contact David Buys at david.buys@msstate.edu to sign up for a one-on-one meeting with Dr. Kennedy. Click the "Link" below for more information about the datasets and Dr. Kennedy's presentation.
