Mississippi Association of Broadcasters Day

Mississippi Association of Broadcasters Day is designed to connect students of all majors with professionals in the broadcasting industry. Students in broadcasting, journalism, public relations, marketing, technology and related areas are especially encouraged to attend. Students should bring printed resumes, resume reels if applicable, and other portfolio materials. From 10 a.m.-noon in Mitchell Memorial Library's third-floor John Grisham Room, students can interact one-on-one with industry professionals during a come-and-go session event. A panel discussion featuring industry professionals from various broadcast stations follows from 1-2 p.m. in the library's first-floor auditorium.
