Additional Information
Robinson will explore the ways artists express their own emotions in pictures by showing the way the world appears to someone with a particular emotional perspective. Such pictures invite viewers to adopt this perspective themselves and to empathize with the artist’s emotional perspective. Robinson’s analysis draws up research slated for publication next year in "The British Journal of Aesthetics."
